Robert Powell and Jean Dunn are the best translators! Easy reading for such complexed material. This book is awesome! Sri Nisargadatta Maharaja's at his best. Straight talk, how it is! Nisargadatta in your face! Take it or leave it!
"The Nectar of Immortality" is a very good addition to "I Am That" and other books which are transcripts of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj's conversations. In this book Maharaj repeatedly points out the logical flaws underlying many of our habitual ways and thoughts and also talks more of the Vital Force animating life. Robert Powell, the editor, sometimes I think intrudes a bit on what had been said but on the other hand offers clarifications of some terms and expressions and is seemingly more erudite than Jean Dunn, the other major editor of Maharaj's conversations; but for me Ms. Dunn's editions seem more direct. Such is my impression, but I cannot prove it. I highly recommend this to anyone who is interrested in Advaita in general and in its various spokesmen, past and present.

Excellent reading between the lines and understanding that words are just pointers to the TRUTH Nisargadatta is expressing.
This is good supplemental reading to the main core of Maharaj's way of illumination, which is very well presented in "I Am That". There are several instances where the core is expanded on in new ways that further the understanding of the material.
