Run Away with Me Jake Shit. That went well. I watch Em slam the padlock shut on the rack of kayaks and then shoulder open the door to the store. It slams behind her, rattling the glass, and I wince, rubbing my stomach where Em hit me with the paddle. Was that deliberate? No. If it were deliberate, she would have smacked me around the head with it. I want to move. I want to follow her. But I don’t. I head down to the water instead and stand staring out across the bay. What was I thinking? Coming here. Turning up out of the blue. What did I expect? For her to be happy to see me? Yeah. I laugh ruefully to myself. I guess that’s what I had hoped for, deep down, but not what I had expected. I always knew it wasn’t going to be that easy. Damn. I reach for the oar she left by the shore and pick it up, still feeling a little winded. So much time I’ve spent thinking about what her reaction would be to me, and I never once stopped to think about what my reaction would be to her. But there it is. All those years between us are a chasm that probably can’t be bridged. And there’s a mountain of lies and pain and hurt that might be impossible to climb. But the fact remains that Emerson Lowe is still the only girl who’s ever taken my breath away.

So far in this series of novels, I have read Stay With Me. Then I moved to this book and was in awe. I love this book series so much. When I got the book, I knew how Mila Grey wrote and this exceeded my expectation. The character development in the novel is great . I love how throughout the book she gave us kind of a backflash and she didn’t rush the back story in the beginning like most books. Also I feel like many can relate to this story. That love can come from anybody in the world even if it’s someone you’ve known for years. The setting , the plot, the characters , the dialog was just perfect. I envisioned me watching all of the drama happen. Like I was right in the novel as well. Great book and great author 10/10 would recommend !!

This was a purchase for my granddaughter and she loved it. She really likes the Author.

I read this book start to finish in a sitting. I love those books that keep you interested and waiting to turn the page. This is the second book by this author that I read in one sitting. She really is an amazing writer!

I love Mila Gray’s books but this was my least favorite. The others I couldn’t put down. This one just didn’t do it for me. She went from saying it was seven years since they saw each other to later saying five years. Had a really hard time finishing it.

After a few pages I just couldn’t put the book down! I read it in 2 days! Just when I thought I knew what would happen next I was thrown for a surprise! What a great book!

It was a great story but it was to similar to other teenage books I had read. Her come back to me and stay with me books were better.

This book was amazing. I highly recommend it for those romance novel lovers. She also wrote stay with me and come back to me. Both are equally as good as these.
